Description This photo was taken in the fall of 2022. A group of photographers were following a bull elk and his small harem close to a small lake. While the group moved as the elk moved away from the lake, I noticed a small group of common merganser that had been tucked in close to shore on that misty morning. I focused my camera on them and the beauty of that morning
