Testimonials
"I was hooked the second I saw the photo Donna captured of such an incredible animal. It perfectly grabs a moment in time displaying the raw power and stunning beauty of the brown bear while looking straight into your soul. It is the centerpiece of our entertaining area in our home, printed on aluminum it radiates the colour while showcasing the sharpness of the photo. The process from contacting Donna to having her art delivered to my door was incredibly easy; thanks Donna, I will enjoy it for years to come." - Shaun , British Columbia
"The several one on one’s with Donna have been very enlightening! Her knowledge and understanding of wildlife behavior and photography techniques has led me to an even greater level of quality field work and photography results.
I would highly recommend the investment of money and time. The return on your investment will definitely be worth it! Thanks, Donna, for assisting me in preparations for photography competitions this year!”
Shauna, Utah
"Love, love, love!
When I saw these beautiful photos of the great blue heron I fell in love at first sight! I had a hard time choosing one so I got three lol. And what was even more special is that I grew up seeing these birds every summer on the water's edge along Nashim Drive to my family home. Thanks Donna for the beautiful keepsake. "

"I cannot describe the prints (limited edition) I purchased from you. Breathtakingly beautiful. The prints of baby and momma bear are quietly stunning. Quality of the prints are the same. Thank you. Thank you. They are truly spectacular!"
Maggie, Alberta
"I absolutely adore your wildlife shots! Amazing work! Everyday I‘m looking at your bear cub print on my wall! I can’t wait to get back to Alaska this summer."
Rebekka, Germany
"Thank you Donna for an excellent one-on-one photography tutorial. Donna met me at my level(which is very basic) and tailored her instruction to my needs. She researched my camera ahead of time and was able to give me tips based on my equipment. She broke down the language of photography for me (aperture, ISO, shutter speed, etc.) and terms in a way that I understood and related to my camera. I gained much insight into my camera and how I could get the most out of it. I also gained a huge amount of knowledge about how I could get the best photos (time of day, light exposure, position of myself, and the subject). I feel like I got a month's worth of knowledge in an hour! Thank you, Donna! I look forward to another course once I get my feet wet with the info you gave me!"
Patricia, Alberta
"You have to wonder how Donna is still alive. The photography, and the prints I received are brilliant and the real details, whether its drops of water or looking into a bears eyes.. I am certain once on my mantle, I will be feeling as though I'm the room with these bears".
Valorie, British Columbia

Jaguar on the hunt. From my recent trip to Brazil.
The Boreal Forest to me is the last great forest on earth. Over my more than fifty years of existence on this planet, I have seen the acidification of the oceans, the rapid shrinking of the rain forest, and the warming of our planet. The Boreal Forest is important to life as we know it. It may not have the lions and tigers, whales, or polar bears that other regions have and that makes us all long for a trip to a far off location to view these majestic animals, but the animals that live here, their stories, are just as important and just as majestic and deserve to be shared.
Why I Care
My passion is to tell and honour the story of the wildlife of the Boreal Forest through my lens. Having lived in the Boreal Forest almost all my adult life the educator in me feels compelled to share its story and showcase the majestic creatures that call it home. Too often we see wildlife but we do not really see, it is just there, something we take for granted. Through telling their stories my hope is it inspires people to really understand the wildlife, to see their challenges and their struggles, to see their victories and their affection. If folks see them as more than just there but living creatures that have individual character and personalities some shy, some bold, some aggressive, and some gentle then I hope it gives people pause and helps make folks passionate about supporting conservation efforts. I also hope it inspires others to pick up a camera and start documenting what they see. There is peace and tranquility in nature, it has the true power to heal.
I strive to provide the utmost quality in all my products and am happy to work with you to meet your needs. Thank you for visiting my store. I give back a portion of my proceeds to conservation efforts so your purchase supports my work of telling the stories of the animals of the Boreal Forest and helping preserve their habitat for generations to come.
