Set in the heart of Alberta’s Boreal Forest, these one-on-one sessions are designed around you, your goals, your comfort level, your photography journey. Whether you’re hoping to sharpen technical skills, deepen your understanding of wildlife behavior, or simply reconnect with your creative vision, we’ll work together in the field to meet you where you're at.

There’s no rigid plan here, just meaningful, responsive learning guided by nature itself.

What Makes This Coaching Different?

Unlike rigid classroom instruction, we let the forest be our guide. Each session is shaped around the natural world we encounter that day whatever crosses our path becomes our subject. You choose what you’d like to focus on, and I’ll provide expert instruction in the moment, offering practical insight, feedback, and support rooted in decades of experience as both an educator and an award-winning wildlife photographer. 

This isn’t a classroom. This is mentorship in motion, immersive, ethical, and deeply personal.

Who It’s For:

This coaching is ideal for those who prefer an intimate, customized learning environment over large workshops. Especially suited for individuals who may feel more comfortable learning one-on-one in a supportive, low-pressure setting. I’m sensitive to mobility concerns and always work within your comfort zone, no long hikes or physical demands required.

All sessions take place in and around beautiful Lac La Biche, Alberta, a hidden gem for wildlife photography nestled deep in the Boreal Forest.

Here’s How It Works:

• Customized Approach
  Before our session, you’ll fill out a short questionnaire about your photography skills and goals, ensuring our time together is laser-focused on your needs.
• Image Review (Optional) 
  Want feedback on past work? Send over a few images and I’ll offer a clear, constructive critique to guide your growth.
•  Custom Scheduling
  We’ll find a day that works for both of us. I only take a few of these a season to keep them truly personal.
• Flexible Full-Day Format
  You’ll have 9 full hours of dedicated time with me. Choose a straight 9-hour block or split it between morning and evening golden hours with a break in between—it’s your day.
• Post-Session Support 
  For two weeks after our time in the field, I’ll be available via email or text for any follow-up questions or clarification you need. You won’t be left on your own.
