Join Me in Alaska

Experience one of the most intimate and rewarding bear photography opportunities in the world in the remote Lake Clark National Park, Alaska. This women-only tour is designed for photographers who want extraordinary access to the wild, untouched settings without the crowds.

I am pleased to be leading this photography experience in partnership with Women In Wildlife Photography. Registration, payment, cancellation policies, and participant communication are managed directly through the host organization.

Tour Highlights:

  • Prime Viewing Times: August is prime time at Silver Salmon Creek. Bears are actively feeding, often at close range, as they roam the coastline, chase salmon in the stream, dig for clams, and forage in the sedge meadows. The open landscape allows for eye-level photography and clean backgrounds, creating powerful, story-driven images that showcase bear personality and behavior.
  • Ethical Wildlife Photography: Your safety and the well-being of the bear are top priorities. A certified bear guide will be with us at all times to ensure we are observing the animals respectfully and without causing stress.
  • Expert Guidance: As an internationally acclaimed, award-winning wildlife photographer, I’ll provide hands-on instruction tailored to your needs. From understanding fox behavior and habitat to mastering action shots and compelling compositions, this tour is designed to enhance your skills and ensure you leave with incredible photos and memories. Each evening I will provide an image review, so you are ready the very next time we are in the field.
