Woodland caribou are threatened and very elusive. I make an hour and a half drive down an old logging road in the winter to look for them a few times a month. I am lucky if I see them 20% of the time. Although there are lots of signs they are hard to find in the forest. This photo was taken in the winter of 2020 om Northeastern, Alberta. Inside of the card reads Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
