2025 Spring Fox Kits Day Tours
Here is your chance to capture contest-worthy red fox photos in the beautiful Boreal Forest.
Your fully private photography tour provides you with an unbelievable opportunity to experience the highly entertaining fox kits. The tour is designed to maximize optimal fox viewing by looking for foxes in the evening and in the morning. Although called a day tour, the tour is two 1/2 days starting in the evening of the first day and finishing on the morning of the second day. This allows you to travel to Lac La Biche, arrive before the tour begins, get checked in to your hotel, look for foxes, stay overnight, look for foxes again in the morning, and start your return home by check out time, minimizing accommodation costs. The tour is yours and can be tailored to your ability and activity level.
The entire time we are in the field, I will emphasize ethical wildlife photography practice. Your safety and that of the foxes are of primary importance when we are in the field and I will continually observe the species we are encountering to look for any signs of stress.
There are few things as entertaining in the animal world as fox kits in spring. Rambunctious, curious, and cute fox kits make for great photos. As a highly acclaimed and multi-international award-winning wildlife photographer I will share my expertise and help you on your photography journey whatever your skill level. From understanding fox behaviour and habitat to capturing sharp action photos and composing compelling images this trip is designed to improve your photography skills and have you leave with great photos and memories.
Dens are highly active in the month of May. The kits are growing more inquisitive and are venturing several feet from their homes. Early in the spring, I will be scouting for different dens in the Lac La Biche region. I will try to locate dens that have great lightning and allow for beautiful shots. Please note if I do not locate a good den for photos within 72 hours of the tour dates I will cancel the tour and provide a full refund.
All tours are offered in Lac La Biche, Alberta, Canada. Whether you have been photographing for years or just received your camera there is something for everyone in this tour.
