What the Tide Leaves Behind Limited Edition Print
In Stock and Ready to Ship
Location: Katmai National Park, Alaska, USA
This photograph came from an unexpected bonus day in Katmai National Park. Intense fog prevented the plane from reaching our remote camp, leaving us in the Alaskan wilderness with the bears for one more day.
For five days, we had photographed bears in the meadow but had yet to see a bear on the beach. The beach is my favourite place to photograph coastal brown bears, and on that final day, a mother and cub finally appeared along the shoreline.
