Description This photo was taken at the end of October in 2022. At this time of year it is the end of the rut season and male moose start to form up in small bachelor groups. It was before the big snowfall of the winter season and I had positioned myself near some willows before sunrise. Moose love the willows in the cold months and is a preferred nutrition source. These two males came so close to my position I was only able to get one in the photo.
