Description This image was weeks in the making. I had been observing this family of foxes denning in a log pile. At a certain time each evening for about 10 minutes the sun was in the right position in the sky to filter beautifully through the distant trees and backlit the kits. I patiently returned each evening hoping a fox kit would stop in the right spot to capture this effect and was finally rewarded after over 2 weeks of patiently observing.
